We picked everyone up after we talked at an English school and everyone had a good time with after church activities like crafts and knife throwing (don't ask me why knifethrowing, but it was youth group and Sasha Bonerenko was good at it.)

The baby started to cry so I picked him up and had him back to sleep in no time. He's grown quite a lot and is one month old.

We have continued work on the Crawford's home this week, in fact I have been too busy to write. I have been getting in shape going up and down a wiggly ladder to paint walls and ceilings and crawling around grouting the tile on the floor. We'd like to have a little more done, but most of our list is crossed off. The Crawfords hope to arrive October 23rd to join us in the village.

We leave tomorrow on the train and return on October 15th from our separate trips to the USA, which is why we have been trying to as much done as possible. We actually fly on the same plane to Munich before heading to different destinations. I am visiting my dad while Garry is going to Mississippi to help his family build a group home in memory of his mother at a place where his parents volunteered for years in the winters. His mother loved to volunteer in the thrift store there. http://mschristianfamily.org/

To add to the confusion Garry got a puppy that they named Happy. It makes Leila sing Happy birthday in English, since its her only reference to the word happy I think. I just wish people were better at putting her outside to do her business.
