Friday

 Here's a report on Friday. Garry is sleeping at "our House" but in Leila's bedroom, she has moved in with the Yulias for the month. He said he woke up at 2 am, started watching the Blue Jays live, and then didn't go back to sleep, so he was going to bed before ten pm.

But here's some of what happened today, and pictures! First I do have a photo of the BC team, taken as they were going through an airport, for those wanting to pray for them. From Left- Jeremy, his brother Ben, Jack, Richard, Matthew and Phil. I guess Stuart took the photo, everyone but Stuart and Ben have been to Ukraine before.

Phil is cooking and they are eating (and sleeping) at the other house, which has been repaired since the pipes froze when Nikolai went to the army in the spring. Garry says it has a new chipboard ceiling (the plastic stuff we put up originally was a mistake) and the walls were repainted. It looks like they are having breakfast in this photo. Stuart must be at the far end of the table.

In the morning they poured cement for the wall at the heifer shed, and cut more wood to make trusses. He said they should start building them Saturday, and move the forms for the walls to a new area to make more wall. Garry sent photos.

Jeremy provided some photos of the other build, turning the shed at the church into a summer kitchen. There's Jack hard at work.

Looks like Dima has been helping Jeremy with the electric work again.

Garry had a dentist appointment in the afternoon (he's getting implants done) and he took most of the guys into the city with him, since it had started raining.  They did some sightseeing, shopping at the mall, and dinner at KFC. He said one guy stayed home to rest, and Jack wanted to get more work done at the church. He also said it took longer than he thought at the dentist, but they think they can finish the implants before he goes home next month (they started the process when he was there in March). 

No haircut yet. Watch for updates over the weekend. Oh, exciting news, Max and Yulia Rudei are new parents, she had a baby girl. They have three children now.
