Last Sunday we had a booth for a Global Sunday at church. Spoke with a number of people about the project and gave away Ukrainian candy. Children are very polite and didn't want to take more than one piece, Garry discovered. I bought them at the Euro store, but I'm hoping to get some when Garry gets back is November.
Almost finished packing Garry's suitcases, one checked one carry-on; he flies out Tuesday morning, but we're going to Morden for Thanksgiving dinner on Monday. He's getting in his final laketime because we'll have to put the boat inside and the docks up on Sunday afternoon. The lake may be frozen when he gets back.
That's a current photo from the village, fall is arriving, and luckily the rain has been falling. They have been greenchopping alfalfa for the cows to eat, since they didn't get much hay over the summer.
Max and the guys have started working on the bull calf shed, pouring concrete so the guys can go right to building when they arrive next week.
