As for me and my house we will serve the Lord....

I'm back online!

I couldn't get myself into my blog to write after I left my isolation.  It wouldn't let me sign in from the farmhouse,  but now that Garry is in Canada,  I'm back!

We are isolating together now, but let me get you up to date on what's been happening in the last three weeks.  Garry finished making corn silage and they baled the final cutting of hay before he left.

It was fourth cut, and there is more hay baled than last year, so there's plenty to feed the cows this year.

They decided to stop watering the alfalfa and the other corn fields. When he left, they were combining the sunflowers and selling them.

Garry unfortunately had a bout of food poisoning the week before he left, it took him a couple days to recover.  He hosted a meeting on the back lawn for the new local government to meet the small farmers in the village.  Apparently,  there was a small incident when Needles the cat, was trying to make friends in the yard, and did his normal trick and jumped up on an unsuspecting ladies back.

Garry drove to Borispol and parked the car at the hotel until we fly back at the beginning of October.  He didn't enjoy all the mask wearing,  but enjoyed having four seats to himself in the plane over the ocean. He brought the Crawford's last suitcase with him, and some more Legos in his carry-on for the Harder boys to enjoy that they have to leave behind last winter when they moved back to Canada.

Looks like everyone is doing fine in the village,  I chat with some of the students on Facebook often and check out their photos,  like this one from Vika.
