Two weeks ago, after we got out of the hospital, Garry was very excited to see three storks near the shop when he went to check out the farm. He didn't get any photos because he didn't have his phone on him.
We have seen storks around the village in the spring for the last couple years, but they never stay here. However, this year there is a pair of storks building a nest on top of the old water tower by the dairy barn. Garry says its quite a sight watching them fly up there with branches a couple feet long to build their nest. This time he did have his camera so there are photos.
We'll be watching for babies in the coming weeks!
