More about Tuesday

It was Nikolai's 26th birthday on Tuesday, and I baked a cake and we dropped it and a gift, off at his and Alona's apartment that afternoon. They were busy cooking, with Julia's help, for a party that evening.
Needles is joining the meeting for the tasty buns

Tuesday was busy, Victor was out, we had team meeting in Scott and Shannon's backyard like last week, but they weren't there. In fact, they aren't in Ukraine now. They discovered Friday night that there was a flight out from Kyiv on Monday morning and decided to take it. Victor drove them to Kyiv Sunday afternoon. Scott has been having an issue with his lungs for months and they are going home to check it out. With the quarantine shutting things down in both countries we don't expect them back soon. Hopefully Scott is able to get healthy in Canada.

Too bad they won't be here to see all the tulips that they dug up and replanted last year bloom, they started to bloom in front of the fence on Thursday.

Max hadn't even realized that they had left for Canada. He pointed out that their car is still in the driveway, under a tarp as usual.

Max has been busy working on the tractor reassembly. Last I heard they were working on the front wheel assist. Planting is coming soon, maybe a week or two. Irrigation water should be coming through the pipes soon. Garry says they may need to water the alfalfa if it doesn't rain soon.

We had a little shower Friday night, with rain in the forecast for most of next week, we'll see how much we get!
