Right side up
Today the precept finally got turned right side up today, after Maxim got the last pieces needed to fix it- it has been sitting there for a long time! They need to get some sides built for it since they plan on doing the rye silage next week. Hopefully the garden still comes up where the tires went through it after they flipped it over.
The heifers are getting better at coming home- or maybe we are getting better at finding them as they go past- its tricky since we have 11 or 12 to find, most people in the village are looking for one or two cows! Garry says the village cows must be giving more milk now, you can see they are bagged up more when the go past in the evening.
Garry has been working on making the yard look better this week- so he rotortillered parts of the yarn up (where is is mostly weeds) and bought a lawn mower last night- its electric because they were way cheaper. The grass in front of the fence by the road looks like a lawn now, and he mowed the yard section where the table chairs and firepit are. I have worked some in the flower beds along the grape vines, we'll see what it looks like when the hot summer arrives.
