Honey

On Monday Victor harvested his first honey from the new hives. Victor used to have bees a few years ago in his home village at his sister's place, but they died out. Now he has hives here and the students help out, on Monday it was Andrei's 20th birthday and he got to be Victor's assistant.  He and Victor came in for lunch and we had cake to celebrate.

 There were eleven liters of honey that they got, Victor took a small jar to all of the group homes.
They moved four of the hives to the alfalfa field. One is still in the yard because it lost its queen and Victor is trying to fix it back up, it was the best hive earlier this spring.
